When designing a mudroom, our goal is to meet your organizational needs. By organizing, we mean a space for everything from coats, backpacks, sports bags, footwear, hat, and glove storage as well as bags. Adding a bench to this room is wonderful addition and helpful for putting shoes on. Drawers below the bench are convenient for shoe storage while hooks and shelves above the bench are great for hanging coats and having baskets for gloves, etc. With the remaining space left to ceiling, incorporating regular cabinets with doors to enclose seasonal items is a great way to maximize every inch of that space.
